Isn’t it funny people say that people 4,000 years ago were smart when they couldn’t make computers and space craft?
The truth is no one was smart 4,000 years ago.

Who told you that?
"The things that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun" (Ecclesiastes 1:9)!
After the cross, Jesus "gave commandments to those He'd chosen" (Acts 1:2) something even an "internet" can't even do today.
Jesus "walked through walls" (John 20:19) and "ascended into heaven" (Acts 1:11) something even a "space craft" can't do today.

The truth is, nobody knows what exactly the capabilities were of some of these ancient cultures, but there are engineering feats done 10,000 years ago at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey that are causing scholars to rethink what they know about high culture.
Some anomaly seems to have happened on Earth more than 10,000 years ago, because the people of Gobekli Tepe went as far as to record things in pictures on obelisk that has everyone baffled, these were not people dwelling in caves, they purposely buried these things as a time capsule as if they anticipated their demise... this proves they were advanced, modern technology might not be as advanced as we think it is, obviously there were things they could do our engineers can't even wrap their minds around yet.

They may not have come up with the concept of technology as we know it today, but they had already accomplished basic housing and infrastructure. I do believe even in the ancient times, they tried to make recording devices by trapping sound waves in pottery - scientists today are trying to capture digital waves from ancient pottery to hear sounds from those times.

Archeologists will disagree with you. Consider the pyramids, the Nazca lines that can only be seen from the air. Cusco and Machu Picchu - we couldn't build these places even today. Over 4000 years ago people were flying. Giant bones found all over the world which proves the Bible. Pictures showing flying machines scratched in rock on cave walls. Enoch and Elijah went up in the heavens on some kind of flying object. Consider why have computers and space craft come into being. Are we communicating with fallen angels flying around as UFOs or USOs?

Remember that when the ancient civilizations invented things like the wheel, there wasn't a wheel before. It would take a serious amount of imagination and the ability to solve problems in a unique way to do that.
There is a website that outlines several original inventions from about a dozen civilizations. It can really move a thinking modern person to recognize that these people solved problems with new ways long before we were born.
These inventions were thought up even before the "age of enlightenment" and the "industrial revolution" in Europe and the US a few centuries ago.
This is why so many atheists etc who call the Bible writers "illiterate bronze age ignorant people" really do not know the potential or the history of humans. We have records of picture-like alphabets and words as old as any ancient human discovery. And the Bible says that very early on, humans were making tents, keeping livestock, and forging copper and iron into useful implements. Genesis 4:20-22

Let's see you build a pyramid with such accuracy that it can't be done today, the Romans were the first to create a vending machine, and they found a time piece so accurate and complex from centuries upon centuries ago they can't duplicate it. The people thousands of years ago were smarter than you so you shouldn't throw insults around. They had batteries thousands of years ago and hard to say what else they had that was lost to time and decay. Tell me, was there a need for computers back then, or spacecrafts. They didn't have a desire to go into space because the earth is their home, to want to go to other planets that can't sustain life in my book serves no purpose thus not to bright to do. And as far as computers, it seems like they are mainly used now a days to observe filthy porn, used by criminals to scam others and for perverts to find victims.

Actually, there were intelligent people 4000 years ago. Sure, their technology wasn't as advanced (obviously), but there were highly intelligent people even back then.

they were incredibly smart and advanced for their time period.
the fact that the pyramids were built during that time period is an incredible technological advanced
the ancient Egyptians were extremely ahead of their time
do you think many modern humans today can manage to build the pyramids the same way the Egyptians did 4 to 5 thousand years ago?? probably not

Intelligence allows us to gradually build on knowledge, not to have the fullness of knowledge immediately. 1,000 years from now people will look back on our primitive society, and wonder at how little we knew.
