Why do you assume anything in the universe has a purpose?  Purpose suggests intelligent design.  But there is no evidence of intelligent design.  So existence is merely existence.  A black hole isn't for anything.  It just is.  The only way anything ever has a purpose is if we assign it purpose.

The false assumption that things around us have an innate purpose for their existence comes from humankind evolving to use tools.  That has caused humans to look around and try and find a usefulness for things we see in our environment, thus ascribing them a purpose.  We then look to ourselves and wonder what our purpose is, and if we see no purpose, we feel as worthless as anything useless we may see in our environment, something not worth having.

This is how the notion of God came about.  Our innate instinct to ascribe purpose in order to find tools that have helped us survive as a species has resulted in an innate need to ascribe purpose to ourselves and to the universe, and the invention of God fulfills that need, because with God, we have a purpose, because with God, the universe has a purpose.

It is a logical fallacy to assume that a black hole has a purpose to serve.

Garbage disposal, except what goes past the event horizons of black holes does NOT come out i THIS Universe. It may not come out at all, except black holes CAN evaporate. Micro black holes evaporate so quickly that computers have to cru check data for hours yo days to confirm that the mi to black holes existed for yoctoeconds to nanoseconds. Then there those who still insist that black holes do not exist.

It doesn't have a purpose that we know of.

We’re the only known species to think that things need purpose. They just are. No purpose or intent, feelings or objectives.
