Capitalism, like any ism, has its pros and cons.

But, don't judge capitalism solely by the trickle-down supply side economic philosophy that Reagan set in motion ... FDR's bottom-up consumer driven demand-side capitalism did the middle class and the country a whole lot of good for half a century ... It's the GOP's supply-side economic policies that are most inclined to promote crimes perpetrated by the rich and powerful.

Just imagine what would happen if a few corporations were writing the laws and regulations...  How likely do you think it would be that they would make their activity illegal?

Yeah ... ALEC ( the American Legislative Exchange Council) automatically comes to mind.

It doesn't... socialism and big govt is a crime coercive system, which takes away from citizens and then those in power write laws to help their buddies.

There's no such thing as capitalism. You're thinking of crony capitalism which is alive and well. And everyone knows the rich literally get away with murder
