I have the same problem, the ice freezes together when I pour my refrigerated Coke into it. I think it's because my ice is kept at -2° F, and my coke is somewhere around 34°. The colder ice may absorb the heat from the first blush of Coke and use the newly frozen Coke to freeze the icecubes together. Or maybe it's witchcraft.
