My two uninterruptible power supplies don't like each other.?
I have two UPS for my two computers. The wiring in my house is crap so I had to add a grounding rod to provide a ground for my UPSs to work. They work fine, but when it's very wet outside they won't work at the same time. They beep. They don't shutdown, which is why I think it's a grounding problem. The ground wire I added is an amateur fix and probably not up to code.

What do you expect when you don't first learn how to do something?
The National Electrical Code specifies how to install grounding rods
and how to connect them.
Books on wiring that you can buy at any home center ---
or find in a local library --- include such information.
I know what is wrong with your installation,
but I don't think you are qualified to deal with it.
Have a licensed electrician correct it for you.

their outlets should be IN-PHASE
means one hole will be ground and the other one will be hot also both hots should be in-phase ..
so you need a synchronizer circuit between them

maybe you should take it to a computer place and have them fix it
