Rules:

Opposite angles in a parallelogram are congruent (have equal measure)

Adjacent angles in a parallelogram are supplementary (add to 180°)

Let's start with the adjacent angles on the left:

3x + 15 + 3x - 15 = 180

6x = 180

x = 180/6

x = 30

Now use the opposite angles:

3x - 15 = y + 30

3(30) - 15 = y + 30

90 - 15 = y + 30

75 = y + 30

y = 75 - 30

y = 45

Answer:

x = 30, y = 45

Consecutive angles are supplementary in a parallelogram, so you know

3x + 15 + 3x - 15 = 180

6x = 180

x = 30

And then the top 2 angles: 3x + 15 + y + 30 = 180

3x would be 90 so 90 + 15 + y + 30 = 180; solve for y
