Why does jazz and swing music sound like circus music?

Because trolls are tone deaf.

Do you really spend time listening to circus music? If jazz and circus music sound the same to you, something's wrong. You're not really listening to jazz. You're listening to what you think is jazz.

listen to more good jazz and take it in far from circus music

No,circus music sounds like Gypsy music,so jazz couldn't sound like that.Get some old Miles Davis,Felonious Monk or David Sanborn and listen to it.

I played flute/piccolo in a REAL circus music reconstruction band here in NY for a few years. I also listen to a lot of jazz. I also have taken swing dance classes. Sorry that YOU have had such an incredibly boring life, and cannot tell apart various musical styles. The rest of us - pros, amateurs, and listeners - sure can.

Because you associate the kinds of rhythm used in swing with marches which have the same kinds of rhythm patterns. Marches are often used in carnevals and circuses
