What does a low body temperature mean?
I know a high temperature usually means your sick. But what about low body temperature?

How low..? Reading 96 Fahrenheit (35.5 Celsius) or 97 F (36.1c) is usually fine. Some people run a little colder, especially older folks. Below 95 F (35.0c) is considered mild hypothermia, an acute condition where the body is unable to maintain body temperature (this can happen for several reasons but it's mostly just from being in a cold environment, but it can also happen from various forms of shock, burns, severe sepsis in the elderly..) Below 90 F (32.2 C) is considered severe hypothermia, these are temperatures not compatible with consciousness. Temperatures below 85 F (29.4 C) are not compatible with human life.
