Why does menstrual blood stinks so bad?
- Anonymous2 months ago
Because it's made of blood and tissues that have been shed from the uterus, this is a very suitable medium for the growth of bacteria, thus it's advised to change pads as frequent as every 3-4 hours or with every visit to the toilet.

Menstrual blood contains a lot of dead tissue. We have evolved to find the smell of dead flesh and blood to be revolting as avoiding it keeps us safer.
If you were a vulture it would smell delicious to you, as they evolved to feast upon dead animals.
