What type of asian coin is this/ what does it say?

It's the same on both sides but I'm not even sure it's a real coin

    It's a Japanese game token, and says "The Pachino". Probably the name of the game center it's from.

    I lived in Japan for 2 years........my guess would be that it's an arcade  token... or a coin  the slots  pay out , in  lieu of actual money.....and then you trade the tokens in for prizes or whatever-.

    I've searched through several hundred pictures of Asian coins and saw nothing that looked like your coin. Considering that you say it is the same on both sides, I think it is as the first answer suggested that it is a game token. The fact that many of the Japanese coins had similar patterns that appear as the background makes me think it is Japanese in origin. The writing might be the name of the venue it came from.
