If you eat 2 meals per week, would your body slow the aging process if the meals are healthy ones?

There have been many studies about the effect of caloric intake on the rate of cellular senescence and it affects a few specific species of mollusk but no mammals whatsoever. In a different study it was found that nothing at all is able to either increase or decrease the rate. With a general understanding of biology and chemistry, it makes perfect sense that there wouldn't be. Cell division is determined by genetics. You can't change anything about it unless you have progeria or are exposed to a deadly amount of radiation.

One meal every 3 1/2 days is not enough.

3 meals a day was not the original norm as humans though. I think it is just what we've become somewhat addicted to behave like. There's no way it-s not connected to the commercialization of food and money. I love food but...just pondering

food consumption and everything else have no effect on aging. there is nothing that can be done to change the rate. this is taught in any biology class

Two Meals per week??  Not a good idea.  You would loose weight and muscle mass and slowly die.

Nope. Malnourishment will cause worse and faster damage than aging.

Not necessarily. It will all depend on what consists those two meals and what activities you do.
