would exterminating labor unions help the american economy?

when the nazis came to power in germany in 1933 the absolute first thing they did was to get rid of all independent trade unions. their leaders were arrested, their assets were liquidated, their headquarters seized and destroyed. the right to strike as well as collective bargaining was lost overnight.

without labor unions impeding economic progress, germany was the first country to pull itself of the great depression and outpaced the united states and all other european states in job creation, and growth from 1933-to 1939.

anyways how powerful are labor unions in your country and would you ever join one?

as for myself, I wouldn't ever become a union thug rat because I'm a software developer for google.

Nazi Germany came out of the Depression so quick not because of a lack of labor unions but because it was spending massive amounts of money to rearm itself.  The Nazi economy was never healthy.  Prior to the War it was heated by large scale government spending.  During the War it survived only by plundering its conquered territories.

Exterminate the rich, there's ninety percent of the money, of the entire world. Two hundred families have half the money in the world. Perhaps killing all of them is too harsh. Any particular person responsible for a thousand or more deaths in their direct actions deserves death, and if the government won't do it, and they won't, then somebody else should.

Hitler didn't exterminate labor unions. Rather, he nationalized them. Being the socialist that he was, he didn't believe in private businesses and in particular private unions. The government was to serve as the union for its citizens. To answer your question, it probably would. Unions place too much burden on businesses. Inflation is high partly because of them.

Republican crap talk. The skew of wealth is destroying the country and although labor unions are a nuisance to businesses, the weakening of labor unions has increased the skew of wealth. They apparently are more helpful than harmful overall.
