Will bellydancing help me prevent injuries in football just like ballet?

I've read online that bellydancing strengths your back and basically strength training is an effective tool in your tool kit to help prevent football related injuries. So can bellydancing help prevent injuries in football just like ballet?

    If your goal is strength and to prevent injuries do Pilates.

    Bellydance lessons don't normally take in men.

      Actually that isn’t true. I was actually taught by a man way back when I was only 19 years old. I’m a grandma now.

      Wow thanks. To be honest as much as I love ballet, I enjoy bellydance a lot more because it just looks more exotic then ballet.
