Is Belgium a non-country?

    Belgium is indeed a country, but it is not a Language.  The language used is Flemish or French.  Belgium is part of NATO and host the NATO Headquarters.

    It borders France, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands in Europe. It used to be one of the European colonial powers, the former Belgian Congo in Africa being its principle colony.

    No, it's a country. Their borders have shifted and they have been promoting a free fIow of peopIe from around Europe for hundreds of years, but it stiiI remains a country.
