# Find the approximate value of an inverse using Newton's Method?

Find the approximate value of f(3) inverse for the function f(x) = 0.8x+0.9x^3+0.1x^5. Let x be the value of f(3) inverse and use Newton's method to find x.

I tried Newton's with several different x values and each time I just get increasingly smaller and smaller numbers until they're so small my calculator refuses to do anymore and it goes to 0, which is not the answer. How the hell do I do this.
