Are you talking about works by F Scott Fitzgerald? If so, a quick google at his biography would show that when HE talked in his books about those dates, he meant 1895, 1890 and 1902.
He was born in 1896 and died in 1940.

The name is Fitzgerald - it's a surname. You might like to tell us which Fitzgerald you're asking about!
Those numbers, though, are years - probably 1885, 1890 and 1902.
If it's a more modern book they could be 1985, 1990 and 2002.

1995, 1990, 2002 showing the hair cuts the kids were wearing on their head at these years for haircuts represented the mind set the children are taught and if they are wearing a bald head I would wonder. But it is as Jesus said, "As a child is taught, in the teaching he will believe." Teach them to hate as the press does that seems to always be selling the bad and can make a friend an enemy........
