Why korea geographically looks like a rabbit?

    That is just the geographical formation of the land. Kind of like Italy is shaped like a boot and looks like it is going to kick Sicily across the Mediterranean.

    Long ago the rulers of Korea wanted any prospective invaders to be put off by the strange shape of the coastline of that peninsula.  So many thousands of workers were put to work removing rocks and soil to some areas, adding that stuff to other areas.  They accomplished the wishes of the emperors after centuries of very hard work.

    But it all fell apart in the early 1950s when the Communists and the democratic government went to war.  The country became divided along the DMV.

    If you ask a Korean, they will tell you that Korea ought to be several times bigger than it is, and that's with assuming that by "Korea" they will most certainly be referring to the ROK and DPRK together as one. The thinking is that much of the bordering region of China - Jilin, Liaoning, and parts of Heilongjiang, once belonged to Korea, so they're actually Korean territories that have been lost.
