Does the dentist needle feel like you’re being stabbed in the face for you too?

For a few seconds, then you can sit there pain free while the dentist works on you. The numbing from the needle is much better than feeling pain from drilling.

If they do it without anesthetic, yes

You need to find a different dentist. If you have a good dentist they will numb the area they are going to put the needle into or they have a technique they can use to make it much less painful. Obviously, your dentist doesn't know about it. It doesn't have to hurt like that!

Absolutely. I've been "blackballed" from two dentist offices for my bad behavior over needles. They HURT! And I'm 73, so not a child.

yes! i've had an ineffective injection and felt the drill 100%. that sucked less than the jab and it hurt so bad i was convulsing (the idiot Dentist thought i was reacting to the sound, not the pain). i've also had the needle hit a nerve and that hurt so bad my eyes would water for like 2 weeks anytime The Aspirin wore off. i hate those needles.

It's nasty and the anesthesia doesn't even work on me properly, it used to but now I just tingle and even if I ask for more. I'd rather just have it done without.

My dentist gives me a pre-stick anesthetic so I don't feel it.
