Does testosterone as a hormone burn more calories than estrogen?

Independently of aiding muscle development, which does burn calories.

Neither burns calories, but testosterone does increase muscle mass and muscles burn calories, so more muscles more calories burned.

It looks like norepinephrine is our only hope.

The question itself is wrong. This is not how the human body works. Energy is used (calories are 'burnt') whenever work is done. This happens all the time throughout the body in all cells. Testosterone and oestrogen have nothing to do with it.
