did the Roman Empire really begin in Greece? Greeks in fact ruled the Roman Empire? and had moved to Italy from Greece?

why people think they are seperate? Greece was like the original place that the Roman Empire began? and it EXPANDED from there to Italy? or why not?

    There has to be some truth in that the cultures mimic each other the architecture the art the beliefs are too alike  it's possible as Rome too split and started the eastern empire , as Greece started to fracture after Alexander died it's possible it looks highly likely

    Nope. The Romans didn't even conquer Greece until 146 BC.
