I brought some pickles that are too hot. How can I take some heat out of them?

Probably not. Also the effort and expense of adding other liquids to reduce "heat" is unlikely to work and be a greater investment than just tossing them and getting another jar of pickles.

you probably cannot since they ahve been soaking in the brine with the hot peppers.

  • Dump out the brine in the jar and replace with your own - a combo of white vinegar (or something like white wine vinegar or rice vinegar) and some sugar.

Eat them with rice, potatoes, or yogurt

Sugar or dairy (milk or yogurt) reduces the sensation of heat. I don't know how you intend to eat them but mixing with either milk or sugar might help, like in a sauce or something.

Get some other pickles that aren't hot at all and eat the two together.

Pour out some of the juice and add plain white vinegar.  Let it steep for a few days before eating another.
