can i use pvc conduit in attic to be used for sub panel.?

    yes. pvc conduit is fine for THHN wiring from main to subpanel. If you are using the equivalent of romex [with sufficient wire size for the maximum current] conduit is not needed in the attic because no one ordinarily gets near it

    with out knowing where you are and what rules you have to comply to its hard to say.

    Id cover the conduit with metal top hat where it comes out of the floor up to the board.

    Or use steel conduit, usually top hat over the top of the pipe is easier. Put a RCD on the sub main if its an existing sub-main that isn't all ready rcd protected.
