    Doesn't seem to help much.

Towards the end of the band Oasis being together Liam's voice was pretty screwed and had a tendency to cr*p out on him mid-song from a mix of drink, smoking, drugs + singing loudly up into the microphone (kind of similar to Lemmy from Motorhead).

    (2004)

His voice certainly wasn't what it was 10yrs previously.....

But he's apparently been doing a combination of going to a voice coach + nursing it back to health with some sort of concoction, and he seems to have come back to full form in the last few years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqpUkTmDpIM

"Can": "cause", not "causes". I've never heard of yelling causing health issues, but constant yelling can damage your vocal cords.

Yes, and sometimes make one unaware that they are yell at, instead of talking.
