My bug bite is still swelling after 24 hours, what can I do?

I got bit by something last night and i brushed it off till I noticed it grew in size as today went on. It started probably a little smaller than a golf ball. Now it is twice that. But everything I look up says I should be vomiting and have a fever or something severe but I feel fine. I can't find a bite mark or anything. I've been i=using ice packs and Hydrocortisone cream but it doesn't seem to work right now. I have no symptoms which makes me confused on what the hell this is. Can anyone help? I'd rather not see a doctor unless I have to.

Possibly a spider bite, I don't think mosquito bites go bigger than 1/2" unless they cause cellulitis or something. Best to ask your doctor asap.

You have probably been bitten by a deadly spider.  Rush to your nearest emergency room and demand immediate attention.

I'd say it's an allergic reaction. I saw a guy with huge bumps on his back after he'd been fishing in the subtropical inlet. Only mosquitoes or sandflies attack there and don't normally produce such large welts, but he never felt sick. I'd say just wait it out until it goes.
