Is it typical to get an additional ssi review after going to a party if you’re normally homebound ?

only if someone reported you and claimed you were always partying.  how would they know you went to a party otherwise?

you can't 'have a life' that conflicts with your alleged disability.  so if you go out and party every weekend, spend 40 hours per week out and about, and CLAIM TO BE mostly homebound, that raised red that indicates you LIED.

but if you are only out about 10 hours per week doing limited activities, that doesn't

if you were approved after claiming you can get out daily for a few hours, then it would not be a red flag if you were out.

Going to a party has nothing to do with SSI or social security entitlement.  SS doesn't care one way or the other.  However the next time you come up for a medical review and are allegedly housebound, you can be sure that the fact that you leave your house for any reason other than medical, would be taken into consideration when making the medical decision.

I was a SS claims rep for 32 yrs.

No. People on SSI are allowed to have a life. They just arent allowed to be gainfully employed or have an abundance of resources.

Even homebound people get regularly reviewed.
