How would you like to pay $750,000 for a house in California ?
- DustbindivaLv 74 weeks ago
Most homes in metropolitan areas are at least that price. You can find something in rural areas that costs half of that. California has 10 different regions that vary in every way. There is no generalizing about California.

That is not much less than we are paying for two houses in California but in a satellite town where most people commute to a bigger city to work

If I had the money I wouldn't mind paying that much.

There are many houses outside of California worth far more than that due to their size, location, and other factors. Are you trying to make the point that California or SF is expensive? Real estate is indeed most expensive in SF and paying less than a $1m for a single family home there would be a dream.

I WOULDN'T.. That's why I sold both my houses there and MOVED to a much better cheaper to live in state and bought a 100 acre ranch..

Not particularly. I can get much more house for that here in Colorado.

It would really depend on the location and worthiness of the house.
Now, what exactly is your point?
BTW your "question" has no relevance to SF or Travel.

Ya just gotta wonder how many sock puppets a person needs. And for a pointless "question" no less.

I would like it if this were in Polls or Renting & Real Estate. As it's not a Travel question at all.
And, I have no wish to live anywhere in that 3rd World shithole called the US.

I would like to buy that house with a 1,000 year interest free loan please, that has no payments until the balloon payment due 1,000 years from now. That is how I would like to buy that 750,000 house in California.
