Why does trump try to force his religion on the country?

For example whenever he stands up for his precious “pro lifers”, his reasoning always involves “God”. Why does he try to bring his religion into our laws when our constitution protects the right to freedom of religion?

It’s nothing new to be honest. Christian values are so intertwined in the US fabric. Some people call it Christian privilege, and it is why a lot of the laws in this country at times seem to go against people’s freedom. Just like you mentioned pro-lifers, they eat up his words cause they believe he has moral compass in regards to that. But in reality, he could careless it’s just another way to weaponize his political angles and maintain his base at bay.

I'll believe freedom of religion is protected when we can have open prayer in government schools, when religious schools get their share of the school taxers paid buy the parents of their students, and when a person can say "God" without being vilified by some moron.

*by  ---  Students can have open prayers in government schools right now, though the schools may not endorse any particular religion or denomination. If they could, maybe I wouldn't want to enroll my kid in a majority-Muslim or -Mormon district.

There are a lot of people that agree with him on that point, lots! Read your dollar bill, doe it not state "IN GOD WE TRUST!" He has a right to his point of view, that is why there is a congress that need to review and pass most any thing he does! You need to read that CONSTITUTION A LITTLE MORE CAREFULLY!

If you don’t believe in freedom of religion and want it forced on the public by shoving it into our laws then go to another country
