I guess word hasn't been transmitted to mommy's basement that DS recently died also.

David Stern's not here anymore. Adam Silver will probably think about rigging the NBA Finals for the LeBron James-era Lakers as a tribute to Kobe Bryant.

  • This is truly a troll question as David Stern passed away and was no longer Commissioner of The NBA when he was alive, so he was in no position to rig anything.

No, they won't be rigged. The format is already in place.

Like he rigged the trade of Chris Paul.  The Lakers will win because they have the two best players in the league.  There isn't anything Stern could do to rig the playoffs.

    • Didn't The Lakers have 4 Hall of Fame Players in 2004 and lose to The Detroit Pistons in The NBA Finals? Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone were beaten by Ben Wallace and Company.
