Do you agree with Bernie Sanders? We should stop spending money on weapons of war and instead invest in climate change?

No . I believe the federal government's primary responsibility is a strong military and national defense .

Bernie has no credibility regarding anything. Why look to a village idiot for suggestions?

Maybe the USA should invest in the American people. Healthcare and infrastructure, instead of just throwing money at the military. This new F-35 jet fighter has been a money pit.

Your question cannot be answered with either a yes or no answer. Military spending can be reduced without affecting the effectiveness of the military. It comes down to how the money is spent. According to the Pentagon climate change is a bigger threat to the US than terrorism in the Middle East.

Actually he thinks we should invest money in combating Climate Change. Not investing IN climate change like the current administration.

No. We need to protect ourselves. The world is a lot more dangerous than it was 50 years ago. Now you got all these crazy terrorists ready to blow themselves up just to kill people. If we don’t have weapons ready and pointing at them, that’s just an open invitation to an attack.
How much safer has America become since we took out osama and all those al qaeda generals.

Yes, and not just the US, the entire world.

No. And what does "invest in climate change" even mean? Pro-coal?

It doesn't have to be all or none but I agree we should spend less on the military and more on preserving the health of the one planet that we all share and need for our existence.
So many issues boil down to an improper use of binary thinking. We have to stop thinking in terms of "all or none" and think more about a healthy balance.
