Fake as in not alive or real? Plastic or man made? Perhaps you don’t mean fake trees but are they native to Florida or where they bought in and planted there.
There are 12 species of palm trees native to Florida. Meaning they grow there naturally. You will see palm trees growing naturally in Florida.

Palm trees are planted to put tourists into vacation mode.They are located there to shut down your brain like wacky tobacco.At the state line there are billboards for nudie-bars to warn you that Florida is a clip-joint.
The state government wants to make the coconut patty the Florida state candy.Coconut palms and cocoa are not crops in Florida but the candy shuts down your brain and puts you into vacation mode.
Two miles inland from the beach Florida is Dixieland South.Tampa has a large confederate flag next to a highway overpass with a symbolic message.The flyover bridge is the modern lynching tree and the Confederacy is the extinct lynching tree.
Black graveyards in Tampa are being protected because China is currently leveling Muslim graveyards.America cannot bully China if we do the same thing.Palm trees remind me of the ruling class like slave plantations with live oak trees.
