Electric sock physics problem?

In the Arctic, electric socks are useful. A pair of socks uses a 9.0-V battery pack for each sock. A current of 0.25 A is drawn from each battery pack by wire woven into the socks. Find the resistance of the wire in one sock.

    Resistance= V/I = 9/0.25= 36 ohm

    Since there are two socks and two battery packs, it's safe to conclude that they are not wired together.

    E = IR

    9V = 0.25A x R Ω

    R = (9V / 0.25A)

    R = 36 Ω

    R = V/I = 9/0.25 = 9*4 = 36 ohm
