Chinese families always share their meal and dig from the same pot. Is this the reason disease spread easily?

One could argue this boosts their immunity because they are regularly exposed to minimal amounts of other germs. According to a Chinese couple we had dinner with recently they do serve themselves from one plate, with eldest going first, but they fill individual plates and rarely go back for seconds with the utensils they ate with. The spread of diseases is more likely due to population density and sheer numbers in that population.

Also not all Chinese do that. Wang Chinese (not sure if that is the “correct” current term) absolutely do not eat from a communal bowl.
