Not sure he has done that however part of the long term goal of the modern Republican Party has been to reduce the general educational level of the population since a lower educated populace is much easier to control.  That is why studies by independents have found that the average educational level of the population is lower in traditionally red states than in those that are not.

Of course if people cannot add they cannot tell for themselves when Trump is stating mathematical information.

It is only the Dems that have opted out.

This was revealed at the Iowa caucus recently. They now cannot count the votes themselves they need to use an app.

Sadly, the app, provided by a company whose major backer is a Soros organisation, did not properly handle the situation where the most popular candidate was "None of the above". Consequently, it crashed and no Dems were on hand who could tally the votes manually.

He's upset that all 4 year old children are already smarter than he is, and he wants to make sure they go no further.
