Abortion is murder and is seriously wrong. A person can battle the culture of death using the rosary and fasting. Catholicism is the One True Faith.

What do you mean by "tolerant of late term abortions"?

All abortions are evil and murder of a child. There is never a justification for abortion. Never.

Your question is not specific enough.

This is because the question also depends on the religiosity of the people in question.

The true Christian Church absolutely condemns the brutal slaughter of children during the first nine months of their lives.

Probably Christians. Orthodox Judaism has a no tolerant stance on gentile abortions according to halakah. Even if the mother will die there is no room for an abortion. Any abortion by the gentile mother is considered murder under the Noahide Laws.

As for Jews? Normally forbidden but if the mother's life is in danger the mother's life may take precedence. The reason between the two is that the baby is considered to be alive and worth saving. Gentiles are considered to be spiritually dead and so the life of the mother is no greater than the child. Whereas the mother's life in Judaism is greater than potential life from the womb.

As for reform and conservative Judaism. They are a joke and purely based on human logic and reasoning not traditional Judaism. Many view them not too different to Christianity or any other man made religion. An Orthodox Jew would not feel comfortable entering a reform Temple or praying with the congregation especially if it is mixed.

Reform and conservative is completely arbitrary what sounds good at the time. If society says homosexuality is bad reform will agree, if it says it is good reform will agree. Nothing authentic about Reformed Judaism or conciliatory Judaism.

Yoel, There's no such thing as a "gentle abortion." The infant is drawn and quartered alive.

Okay, trolls. Late term abortions are overwhelmingly due to tragic medical circumstances. Such as the baby is dead or dying or so deformed it cannot survive either the birth or much longer after being born. I'm talking babies born without brains or internal organs or the heart is on the outside of the body or some other set of defects that would be beyond doctors to help other than keep that child unconscious until it passed away. [Look up palliative care.]

That's the reality for some parents facing late term abortions. It's usually a much wanted child, and...yeah. You can go read these stories of real people trying to deal with this on top of being told what horrible human beings they are by pro-forced birthers who don't give a **** about what the parents or parent might be facing [including the potential loss of the mother's life] as long as birth takes place.

“Abortions that occur at this stage in pregnancy are often the result of tragic diagnoses and are exactly the scenarios wherein patients need their doctors, and not obstructive politicians,” says Dr Jennifer Conti, clinical assistant professor at Stanford University. “Asking a woman to carry a fatally flawed pregnancy to term is, at the very least, heartbreaking. I’ve often heard women say that they chose to end such pregnancies because of unselfish reasons: they couldn’t bear the thought of putting their fetus through even more pain or suffering.”

christians act like it, all tough and "anti" claiming values BLAH BLAH - but then, we all know that over 75% of the abortions in the US are obtained by christian and catholic women. in fact, it's their own right-wing anti-abortion websites which give us that statistic!!
