Try holding the " Shift " key (below Caps Lock, above Ctrl) with one finger,

while typing number 3 in lowercase with another. It should create # for you.

That is the symbol for a number.  You will find it above the number three on your keyboard.  Hold the 'shift' key down, and press the number '3.'

That would be pushing down the shift key and the number 3 key if you can't see the number sign it's on number three

It's on the 3 of your keyboard -- press Shift and 3 at the same time, and you'll get the # mark

It is on the keyboard key "3" when you hold "shift". Open your eyes and close your mouth so you can see.
