every other two years?

Is it grammatical and idiomatic to say "every other two years" when I want to mean "every second year"?

It should be every two years. There is not only no need for "other", but it confuses what is actually meant. Every second year is an acceptable alternative.

'Every other two years' sounds like you mean periods of two years separated from one another by two years. If you mean 'every second year', then say that or 'every other year'.

It’s very awkward. “Every other year” is common and seems what you’re describing.
