    Literally '' C'est bien par là ? '' = it's well that way?

    Bien = well.

    In a more formal way, we say:

    '' Excusez-moi, la place Molière est bien par là ? ''. Est bien par là ? = literally: is well that way?

    Otherwise I think the person is asking instead: La Fontaine Molière / The Molière Fountain. It is a fountain located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, at the junction of rue Molière and rue de Richelieu.

    Thus there is no ' Place Molière ' and I think the person confused ' Place (square) and Rue ( street).

    The sentence means "Excuse me, Molière Square, is it that way?"

    "c'est bien par là?" literally means "is it okay that way?"
