2002 Dodge Dakota with 194,000 miles?

I'm considering buying a Dodge Dakota I found. The seller says it has had regular maintenance and the trans was replaced 3 years ago. He says nothing is wrong with it. Assuming all is true, would you buy it?

Update:

Engine is 3.9 v6

Too many miles for sure. It’s possible it’s fine. But tbh you should just get a CPO Tacoma or Colorado that’s like 2-3 years old instead of almost 20

If the price is right, sure...

But that 'right' price had better be quite low.

An 18 year old Dodge.  No.

    NOT with that many miles.

    Depending on the price

If I wanted a truck like that

And a mechanic validated what the seller said is true....

    I would buy it.

No. I would not buy anything with that many miles.

I'd buy it for 200 bucks so I could maybe make scrap price

If he has the documentation  and it is really, really cheap.  He's pretty much gotten all the good put of it.

Does he have the documentation to back up his claims? If yes, buy it, if no, then no.

Nope. Then again, I have no need for a pickup truck, and less need of an 18 year old vehicle that is long past any age where reliability is possible.
