Would it be useful for Congress to vote twice on everything—the binding public vote & THEN a secret ballot, results revealed without names?

If the secret ballot means nothing legislatively, what's the point?  Constituents  can't do anything about secret ballots results. No. Our congresspersons need to find the integrity and courage to vote the right way and the American public needs to hold them accountable for their votes. That is what I would prefer.

I might be open to secret ballots in rare circumstances like impeachment trials, if that secret ballot is legally binding.

The point is that the results would be illuminating.
