    No, but it has been in a number of central US states. There were (and probably still are) sodomy crimes on the books in state laws. The Supreme Court of the US has determined such laws are illegal. So though not enforceable, they still exist. See the source below for the holdouts.

      Nope.  The Supreme Court invalidated all state sodomy laws in 2003 (Lawrence v. Texas).

      Only gay couples were ever charged with sodomy. ( which is a myth).

    It was. The courts reversed it because it was unenforceable and unfairly enforced when it was.
