Can someone please show me a diagram of N-ethyl-N-butylpentan-1-amine

    N-ethyl-N-butylpentan-1-amine

    The longest chain of five carbons (shown horizontally in the attached diagram) ending in the nitrogen atom is the "pentan-1-amine" part.  The two-carbon chain (hanging down from the nitrogen in the diagram) is the "N-ethyl" part.  The four-carbon chain (sticking up above the nitrogen atom in the diagram) is the "N-butyl" part.  (You didn't ask, but the formula is C11H25N.)
