Stress is catabolic to muscle growth????
I finished a nice gym session where it was total body bodybuilding. Unfortunately right after i was walking back i was almost hit by a car. I was trembling at the thought for a few minutes afterwards and i could feel the adrenaline everywhere. Luckily i calmed down after roughly 5-7 minutes still feeling slightly shaky. I got home had my protein and felt better. Will my muscle recover and grow the same way they would've if i didnt face that stress factor???? Or are my muscles doomed to not recover and grow properly due to catabolic stress?
