Patrick Kane Might Actually Be 1 Of The Greatest American Born Players To Have Ever Stepped Onto The Ice.

No NHL player that averages above a point per game over a long career is overrated. He's only 31. If he stays reasonably healthy, by the time he's 36 - through the '24-'25 season, he'll reach 500 goals and 900 assists. If he retired then, he would still be in the Top 20 in all time scoring, even when Ovechkin and Crosby push a couple of the current 20 out.
And oh yeah...nobody who has won three Stanley Cups, a Rookie of the Year, an MVP and a Most Oustanding Player, is overrated.

He was drafted 1st overall, and he's played as such! In an era where scoring has been low in the NHL, the guy is over a PPG player career-wise, and he's belted out more than 100 points twice, not to mention has 3 cup rings.

No. He's infuriatingly good.

Very good on offense, but very poor on defense.
