Hitler dumbed Germany down. Most of the scientists moved to the USA. Not just the Jews, either. Msny of the scientists who built the US nuke were German.

    1. Not developed

    2. You "drop" bombs, not "launch" them

mmmmmmmm most likely because Germany hadn't yet developed it? It was still in the early stages when the scientists who were developing it skipped town so to speak

Ironically if he hadn't gone to such great lengths to drive out the Jews he may well have been in a position to do just that through Einstein who was Jewish and who was one of many scientists who fled Germany after the nazis came to power and who invented the atomic bomb that the USA used on Japan that forced them to surrender and which ended the 2nd world war.

No really the Japs had no intention of surrendering until the 2 atom bombs were dropped on their cities immediately afterwards Japan surrended it had **** all to do with Russia.

Hitler never had a atom bomb.

Because he didn't have one. Germans were working on one but were far behind the US and never came close to developing a weapon. Nazi policies helped to do them in with anything related to science. Many physicists were of Jewish heritage and had left Germany before the war even started.

And had they remained in Germany it would have given them the means to create such weapons which Germany could have used but instead it was the USA which ended up benefiting from it all by taking in Germanys top scientists and working with them during the war.

Germany and Japan were both frantically trying to develop an atomic bomb. The reason we are speaking English is because we were first.

" you'd be speaking Japanese." So Japanese were going to invade the USA, is that right?
The given reason for dropping an A-bomb on Japan, was that it would save American lives in the initial American invasion of that country.

Germany didn't have any nuclear bombs. Or Atom bombs.

    • Martin4 weeks agoReport

Well it might have done had it not driven out its major scientists who ultimately ended up working with the USA which enabled them to create such lethal weapons.

They didn't have one. Good thing too, because Hitler was the kind of psycho that would have jumped at using the nuclear option.

proposal of peace to the Americans. But the American military wanted to drop their bomb, mainly to impress the Soviet-Union.However, they were not impressed. They know exactly what was going on in the American nuclear research facility. And America as the only world nuclear power, would be short.
