Mexico is currently blocking a mass crowd of illegal immigrants from Central America; if they fail, what should the U.S. do?

Eat. If the illegals get into the U.S., then the U.S. will be able to let them work on its farms and produce food for Americans to eat.

As for what it will do if Mexico succeeds in keeping the illegals out of the U.S.? Well, with fewer workers, it will produce less food. So export less, and have a higher trade deficit, which will hurt the economy. Or eat less, which might not be a bad thing, given the obesity epidemic.

Mexico does not have the economic means to absorb immigrants from Central America. The USA does. Immigrants are necessary for our economic growth.

Have a battalion waiting for them at the border to prevent entry and make them walk back the way they came.
