Did you know that Amazon pays $0 in taxes every year?

They always declare $0 in profit even though they're probably the richest company in the world. They shift their profit to one of their company in Ireland and pay nothing in the US. Is this acceptable?

Well they haven't had to pay in 2 years. There should be an alternative minimum tax on corporations.

U.S. tax code allows companies that lose money to reduce their future taxable income. That has worked in Amazon's favor because its past has been marked with billions of dollars in losses and some of its profits come from global sources not subject to the U.S. tax code.

We should know what our politicians pay in taxes also.

We have been trying for years to tell you that Corporations do NOT pay taxes! They ALWAYS pass the tax on to the customer, employee, or shareholder.

Now before you vilify Amazon, look at how many people they employ doing simple warehouse work that are making 30k/year. Yes, they are expected to be high output, but they are well paid for their efforts.

That is not Amazon's fault, that is the fault of the people who wrote the tax laws.

When was the last time you turned down a refund or wrote a check when your 1040 said you didn't need to? do not blame it on Amazon.

Jeff Biezos is a liberal Democrat. As is Jeffrey Immelt, the General Electric CEO everybody was bitching about during the Obama administration.

So, the next time a Republican proposes a Flat tax, LISTEN TO HIM!
