Why do so many diseases originate in China?

This new coronavirus started there. So did bird flu, swine flu and SARS, as well as others. Recently there was a plague outbreak there too.

I believe the way they treat animals is the cause. They just breed these animals for food and don't treat the animal with any respect or any care or any humanity.

China consists of 18.2% of the global population, so it is not illogical to assume that diseases would originate from there. However in the last few decades we have also seen HIV which originated in Africa, the Zika virus from the Americas.
