Can stomach ulcers cause hunger pain?

That typically goes away after eating, and comes back after a few hours.

Yes, but when I had an ulcer it was more like dull pain most of the time, and sharp occasionally, which eating usually made feel better for a while. There are several more symptoms viz:

Bloating and Gastric Reflux are often part of it. See your doctor urgently if you have black tarry stool, and have someone take you to the Emergency Department if you have this and are also nauseous and very weak.

No. They cause REAL PAIN.  Near constant agony.

They are open sores in the stomach wall lining, exacerbated by stomach acids.

Hunger Pains, are the stomach muscles contracting on empty stomach air.
