If you cut whole grain carbs out of your diet and only consume them after lifting weights, will that help you lose fat?

You don't need whole grains EVER. Why do people think we need to eat grains of any type? Or massive amounts of carbs? we do not.

It shouldn't make any difference. You can cut out whole grain carbs, but still consume the RDA of complex carbs and your results will be the same (there's nothing wrong with whole grain carbs). If you want to lose fat, consume fewer calories than your body uses.

No.  Cutting out carbs is foolish in my opinion, especially whole grain carbs.  One needs carbs for energy in order to work out (and do other things).  Whole grains are a healthy part of a balanced diet.  It's refined carbs, sugars without fiber, and any highly processed foods, that one should reduce if one wants to improve health and lose fat.  Whole grains are not a problem and in fact have a lot of important nutrients and fiber.
