Why was Jesus, the great healer, unable to heal his own wounds when nailed to a cross?

Good question. The great miracle worker couldn't carry his own cross either, and needed help from good ol’ Simon. Nothing like sophomoric fiction.

JESUS did not come into the world to glorify HIMSELF but to do the will of HIS FATHER,to shed HIS blood so all sins may be forgiven.WHAT JESUS accomplish on that day no one but the FATHER knows the truth.

I disagree.. he comes across as a person seeking attention and fame, albeit in a somewhat disguised manner.

He could have easily and come down from cross.  But that was not what He came here to do.

Not unable, but unwilling, since this was the reason He came to Earth.

Because he had a plan involving drugs disguised as wine in a sponge, so that he would be rendered unconscious and wouldn't respond when they pooped him in the side with a spear.

If you bothered to read the account, you'd know he didn't come here to heal his own wounds.  Read it for yourself.

Spoiler:  you're going to be embarrassed you asked this question.

    Good question.

Jesus on the cross, healing himself over and over, no matter what was done to him, would have proved to EVERYONE present that he had the power to do so (like, an advanced healing potion).

The ignorance of the day could have convinced the people "he was a god".

He could but if you read in the bible he did not heal his own wounds so he could die for our sins because he was perfect and if he didn't die for our sins, then man would be destined for hell, if you believe the biblical viewpoint? He loved us so much he suffered and died so we could have eternal life. All one has to do is accept him and ask him into their heart and accept his free gift that he gave so generously to you and me.

The only answer you will get is that he was redeeming humans from original sin.
